CCF - Our Sponsor
UnionCountyKids.org is sponsored by CCF, also known as the Union County Commission on Children and Families.
Union County Commission on Children & Families (CCF)
The CCF system was created by the Oregon Legislature in 1993 to encourage and support the various community efforts in each county aimed at improving the quality of life and living conditions of children from birth to age 18. Our mission is very simple: to encourage a collaborative community that supports and advocates for children and families through resource development and education.
The CCF board is made up of volunteers who believe in advocating for children and families through resource and service development, community outreach and collaboration by community partners, business and individuals. Please consider joining our efforts to make Union County a great place to live and raise a family. Attend a CCF meeting to learn more. Call 963-1034 for details on the next monthly meeting.
CCF offers two ways to assist your organization in the promotion of events, activities, fundraisers and trainings.
- Mass emailings: CCF keeps a large number of current emails for individuals, family-friendly agencies and organizations. CCF customizes each email group to the activity and the intended target audience.
- Community Calendar: CCF is a contributor to the EONI online calendar and will post family-friendly events to this calendar for your group.
CCF is also responsible for the allocation and management of several specific state and federal funding streams for targeted child, youth and adult populations. On an annual basis, 7-10 local programs serving families benefit from these funds. For more information on the Request for Proposals process, contact a CCF staff member.
